Ms. Shine's Classroom Activities
Teacher website www.teachersontarget.com
In most classroom activities teachers should let children have an assigned buddy.  Having a buddy will engage in more classroom activities.  The children will become more familiar with one another and they will rotate parents frequently.
* Every day the children will have an everyday bell ringer with their buddy.  They will be give ten minutes to answer their bell ringer and when the time is up they will rotate around the classroom leaving their bell ringer at their desk.  This will give every child a chance to read the different quotes that each child have given.

  1. This website had a few ideas that were interesting to help one have an understanding of items that are needed within the classroom. I thought the self assessment was one example of a good idea for one take on a personal level to make sure that they including the needed factors for the classroom.

  2. I agree with Mrs. Herrera. I thought that the assessment provided would be especially valuable for a teacher. I also thought that the articles were to the point and relevant for a classroom teachers needs.

  3. I have seen in other classrooms where children go to centers for 10 minutes at a time or so and then a buzzer rings and they have to choose another center. I guess it is so a child doesn't stay at a center too long and that they can enhance their skills at another center. I've used the buddy system before to go to centers when we have a new student and for the most part it works
