Ms. Shine's Classroom Activities
Teacher website www.teachersontarget.com
In most classroom activities teachers should let children have an assigned buddy.  Having a buddy will engage in more classroom activities.  The children will become more familiar with one another and they will rotate parents frequently.
* Every day the children will have an everyday bell ringer with their buddy.  They will be give ten minutes to answer their bell ringer and when the time is up they will rotate around the classroom leaving their bell ringer at their desk.  This will give every child a chance to read the different quotes that each child have given.

Ms. Shine's Classroom Structure
Teacher website http://www.autism4teachers.com/
Children with autism respond well to structure.  It gives them a safe and warm environment.  This fills their understanding and ability to succeed.
* The teacher should have a separate area for independent work, one on one, group work, quiet reading, play and etc.
* Every area should have visuals displayed in the area.  Having visuals displayed will keep children from being disturbed by others.  The visuals should show the different areas like, the play, computer, reading, and math areas in the classroom.

Ms. Shine's Classroom Organization
Teacher website http://www.teachervision.fen.com/
*Being prepared is the first thing teachers need to do.  By teachers being prepared for class says a lot about the teacher's character.  The teacher need to have his or her name displayed on the board along with seating arrangements for the children.  Also, the teacher need to have a daily schedule posted along with materials ready for children.  The teacher need to have lesson plans and instructions ready for the children.
*Have smooth transitions if the teacher is well prepared the transitions will go smoothly.
*Go over the classroom rules. The classroom rules need to be gone over thoroughly.
*Letting the children know they are in a safe comfortable environment.  This need to be gone over with the children daily.

The classroom arrangement..k6educators.about.,com/od/classroomorganization
I have found that the important thing in classroom arrangement is having the desks arranged in an orderly fashion. The way a teacher set up his or her classroom and the way they have the desks arranged say a lot to the children and parents.  It says what you want to accomplish in your classroom.  The way the teacher set up the desk in their classroom helps with discipline problems.
*The traditional row is where children are in rows facing the board at all times but the drawback from that is it is difficult for small group time.
*Cooperative clusters is good for small groups. The children will engage in small group time all day if that is what the teacher prefers.  The teacher would set the desks in 4 or 5 in a cooperative cluster.
